Privacy policy

How we handle the personal data of applicants, participants and graduates.

Last updated: February 2026

Information we collect

When you register for a cohort we collect your name, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, state and city of residence, educational background, occupation, computer skill level, equipment access and your reasons for applying. We also record the cohort you selected and the date of your application.

Why we collect it

Your data is used to process your application, assess readiness for the programme, communicate cohort information, process payment, issue your Internship Bootcamp Number, generate your participant ID card and produce and verify your certificate.

Verification records

Where you complete the programme, a limited record — your name, cohort, Internship Bootcamp Number and certificate status — is retained so that employers and institutions can verify your qualification. This record does not include your contact details, date of birth or application answers.

Payment information

Cohort fees are processed by licensed third-party payment providers. We do not store card numbers or bank credentials. We retain only the payment reference, amount, currency and status returned by the provider.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with our payment provider for the purpose of collecting fees, and with trainers and supervisors assigned to your cohort. We may disclose data where required by Nigerian law.

Storage and security

Applicant data is held in a managed, access-controlled database. Access is limited to authorised administrators. Records are protected by row-level access policies and encrypted in transit.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask for corrections to inaccurate information, or request deletion of your application data where you are not a graduate with a verification record. Email us and quote your application number.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the programme develops. Material changes will be communicated to applicants and participants by email.
